Light Commercial Expo is Australia’s premier B2B event dedicated to the light commercial vehicle industry. The 2025 event is the inaugural event. The event connects manufacturers, suppliers, fleet managers, and businesses to explore cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions that are shaping the future of commercial transport. We’re showcasing the latest advancements in sustainable and future-focused light-commercial vehicles, including electric and hybrid models.

The show will run during the following times on each day: 
Friday, 15th August: 9AM - 5PM
Saturday, 16th August: 9AM - 5PM
Sunday, 17th August: 9AM – 5PM 

Yes, kids are welcome. Anyone under 15 years gets free entry to the show. 

There are three ways to get to the show: 
By public transport > Tram - Tram routes 96, 109 (Stop 124A Casino/MCEC) will take you to our Clarendon Street entrance. > Train - The closest station is Southern Cross. Once you exit the station, you can catch the 96, 109 or 12 tram routes and arrive at MCEC in just a few stops. 

Taxi/Uber Ask your taxi or Uber driver to drop you off at MCEC’s Clarendon Street entrance. There are two nearby taxi ranks – Crown, Clarendon Street and DFO, Convention Centre Place. 

Driving If you’re driving to the Melbourne EV show, there are five car parks available nearby: 
> Melbourne Exhibition Centre Parking: undercover parks accessed off Normanby Road with a height restriction of 2.2 metres. 
> South Wharf Parking: open air parks accessed off Normanby Road. 
> Freeway Parking: partially covered parks located at Munro Street under the Westgate Bridge. 
> Montague Street Parking: open air parks accessed via Munro Street followed by Montague Street. 
> Siddeley Street Parking: undercover parks located just across the river with a height restriction of 1.9 metres. 

We're pleased to share that tickets will be available for registering at the door on the day of the event. There will be a ticketing booth located at the entrance to the show. But to avoid queues, we strongly suggest you pre-register for a complimentary ticket at this link.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own food and beverage. 

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted, however service dogs are allowed.
