Kathleen Davies is the volunteer Chairperson of the Victorian Branch of the Australian Electric Vehicle Association. AEVA is the user’s association, representing all EV users and enthusiasts. The organisation is powered by volunteers, is independent and not-for-profit. AEVA is the longest continuously running EV society in the world.

Kath has been active on the Victorian committee for over five years. She is an early adopter of electric vehicles and is now driving her third EV since 2012. Working with volunteer teams, Kath helps deliver public events that educate, support and promote electric drive.

She is passionate about real climate action. As a result, she and her family have retrofitted their house from a 2-starto 7-star energy efficient home. Kath is involved with Renew’s Sustainable House Day and other local climate action groups.

Climate action has also led Kath to legal action. She is one of the two winning plaintiffs in the landmark High Court case that scrapped Victoria’s electric vehicle tax.

In her day job, Kathleen is an engineering consultant, working independently across multiple industries to help safeguard process design. She has a strong background in lean to green principles and has worked with the National Centre for Sustainability at Swinburne. She is passionate about creating regenerative and circular processes.
