At Future Drive, our support for electric vehicles goes beyond their sleek design and smooth performance – although those are certainly appealing! Our mission stems from a vision to reduce carbon emissions and improve the wellbeing of Australians today and future generations.

That’s because switching to electric offers immediate advantages; You can wave goodbye to tailpipe emissions and say hello to lower running costs in comparison to petrol and diesel cars. Moreover, they contribute to cleaner air and reduced noise pollution, while also creating new job opportunities, enhancing fuel security, and balancing household energy supply.

Inspired by the positive impact of electric mobility, we’re committed to fostering awareness and advocacy through our Future Drive events and our social platforms – ensuring education and engagement continue all year round.

And we’re not alone in this journey. Alongside us, Federal and Territory governments across Australia are investing in the electrification of the transport sector, working towards affordable and accessible EVs. Initiatives like the development of ultra-fast charging networks in NSW and a zero-emission bus transition in Victoria reflect a collective effort for a greener future.

So, while it’s no secret that the electric vehicle market is booming, with sales and model diversity on the rise. We still have a long road ahead to achieve our goal of 1 million EVs on Australian roads by 2027.

But we’re not backing down! Exciting events are coming up in2025, including the Melbourne International EV AutoShow in June, Light Commercial Expo in September, and Sydney International EV AutoShow in October. Our Future Drive community is expanding across social media and our news platform, dedicated to championing a cleaner future for mobility in Australia.
